The Card Key Slot

Lights or AC not working? Many Japanese hotel rooms have a slot by the door. Put your card key in it to turn on the power. When you take it out to leave, the power switches off after a moment.

“If the lights in your hotel room won't turn on, check for a card key slot by the door.”
